Emotions

We perceive everything that happens through our five senses: sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste.  Our perceptions are experienced in the body as feelings, and can be studied in the brain.  Feelings and emotions are ‘psycho-biological’.

Our emotions seem to be the most enigmatic part of us. Though they can be confusing and troublesome at times, they can also make things clear and strong.

Understanding our feelings and emotions is the most efficient route to self-acceptance, emotional intelligence, psychological well-being and physical health. We understand our own feelings and emotions better when another trusted person lets us know that they understand our feeling and emotions.
